I had the pleasure of getting into an argument with a smurf account on my team this morning. He was furious that we were so bad and he went on to say he was a smurf.
I outlined that smurfs ruin the game for players like myself and his response was “we help you get better. You can’t get any better playing others on your own level.” We kept arguing and it ended with him hoping I would jump off the highest building I could find.
<sarcasm> I didn’t know Onyx/Champion players rolling characters to crush me was in my best interest. I feed so much better now. </sarcasm>
I’ve said this before: there is a threshold where getting beaten without any chance to adapt and take advantage of the enemy’s faults will NOT leave an impression on a player, other than “this game sucks”.
I call all smurfs out and report them. I think it’s only a matter of time before my account of 15 years gets a bad reputation from them reporting me back.
Sorry, but there’s not much to discuss here. You had an encounter with a smurf. You shared your story. Many people disapprove their behavior and feel strongly about it, and can sympathize with you. That’s all there is to say. The rest would just be people bashing smurfs and saying they are the worst thing ever, so let’s end this here, shall we?
