Logic behind booting people

So put yourself in the shoes of my various teammates, who:

  1. Run in front of my explosive ordnance (wraith shot, rockets, on top of grenades)
  2. Run/jump in front my vehicles as I’m driving at full speed

What are they thinking when they immediately boot me for their stupidity? Are they just -Yoinks!-? I mean sometimes I am the cause for the betrayal; I throw a grenade into a contested hill, something like that. But more often, it’s my teammate running into an area that I already have something explosive in (or an area I’m, say, boosting a ghost through and they leap in front of me), then immediately banning me because of their stupidity.

Most people have quick reactions. I know for a while whenever that screen popped up, I was pressing “X up A” quickly.

Now, I wait and figure out what happened.

Most people just enjoy booting others though.

If that’s the situation then I’d gladly forgive you. But if it was a situation like a game I was in last night where the game has this one guy that seems like he has no clue what he’s doing and repetitively betraying me for no real reason I wouldn’t hesitate to boot him. Sadly the boot player box never showed up. I was practically begging for it to show up so I could boot that guy.
