I’ve been playing the halo wars 2 blitz beta and it’s very fun, but every time I see people with vanished leaders and they use only locust, literally an army of locust which they are so OP, not even the cyclops can destroy them.
please nerf.

Blood Locust I agree with. More and More people are doing Locusts only armies.
Hi fellow Players.Rank 10I face this every second game. I counter it with a cyclops. I have 2 to 3 in my deck for this reason and to take out artillery. I just run straight at then with a nightingale or 2 and wipe them out every time. Prioritise the non shielded ones first and you smash them.I think people get too scared by there long range and don’t rush them early on.Just like every RTS people will start to easily counter the current strat and the flow will change.

Personally I would say, that locust thing is the most nooby tactic in the game
Locust need to have about 1/3 the health they currently do. Or not be able to attack air. Or cost 3x more.
Locusts are hands down the most OP thing in this game right now.

Interesting concept. Isabel can have a total 3 different cyclops in her deck and they’re all relatively cheap. Spawn a group of them at home base and I’m sure they can stand a chance at a hill full of locust.

Agreed that locust are absolutely unbalanced, I believe taking their health down or upping their cost wouldn’t be as effective as say maybe reducing their damage by 1/3 to 1/2 and or reducing their range by 1/3 to 1/2

I really agree the cyclops and Hunters & stronger hunters are very good once you storm them and using power to do more damage can really change the game. At first I was scared and though “That’s game” working on counters really can change the game back into your favor.

Totally agree, just as i said don’t have slow units in the group with the Cyclops and nightingales and they’ll get to them fast. They totally destroy the locust.
Anti armor, blast units. ult aoe. Ult units. surrounding them with infanty. Guard units are great against them.
They are a pain because they have shields and long range.
Kite them into traps or a nice mac round or eradication.
I think the problem is that the locust and bloodfuel locust are so spammable. Maybe if they got their price jacked up to 20 energy they wouldn’t be so easily spammed anymore.

Not if you have all the energy drops they get spammed cuz people let the enemy bulk up

I agree with the locusts, but the Blisterbacks have their own nerf, in it that they can’t move, and are extremely vulnerable to eradication, or literally any leader damage ability, not to mention units! Just thought I’d let that out there, before it came up, haha!

I think that it’s the range that needs a nerf they have the longest range because they can destroy units that are in the fog of war no other unit can,not even the kodiac or the blisterback.They also are OP if you put them on the ridge between B and C.Anyone else think the vulture needs a nerf as well? In my opinion it’s too affective against the banished (if they aren’t using locusts)
The only way I’ve stopped Locust is to attack them before they get a third one, Use Blast, Use Blood Fuel Grunts, use a Condor, or use an Atriox Chosen. But it’s very hard to deal with especially when you don’t have a BF Locust itself.
