Is the Locus pre order the helmet and that’s the only way to get it or is it a skin?

If it’s pre order only I’l be willing to trade a lot of my codes that I have.

Look up any of the PAX videos of Halo 4 armour; you can see in the list Locus and the skin are seperate unlocks.

Case in point, helmet’s still available in game, and the skin’s just exclusive. Have some faith.

All the Event builds had every armour permutation unlocked, even the pre order ones such as Fotus and Locus

It’s just the skin that’s the bonus. Just ask 343i.

FOTUS is the only exclusive helmet. Locus and every other helmet are unlocked normally.

Thank you for very much clearing that up. My favorite helmet in the game, and I wasn’t even sure if it was locked from me.

I’m fairly certain that both deadeye and locus helms are the pre order bonus’ not just the skin

It’s a skin, the skin is exclusive. The LOCUS helmet is in the actual game.

If you didn’t understand the above due to it’s complex nature, i can always translate into Spanish or Japanese.

Oh yeah, same goes for the Deadeye helmet. That’s just pre order skin too. Helmet is in the game.

That’s fan made. He got all the screenshots from the Interactive Guide.

The ONLY bonus armor anyone can get is the FOTUS Armor which comes only with the LE Xbox Console.

Just got an email from Mighty Ape NZ reading:

“Stock of the hugely anticipated Xbox 360 title Halo 4 has arrived at Mighty Ape HQ and will ship on Monday. Pre-order and receive the Raptor in game Armor Skin, Locus Helmet and Assassin Multiplayer Emblem exclusive to Mighty Ape! You’ll also get the Pulse Armor Skin and Bonebreaker Emblem free!”

This implies and (almost) confirms that is an exclusive helmet, not just a skin.
