I’m a huge fan of the original Locus helmet skin that was introduced in Halo 4 and seeing the new Halo 5 version is very disappointing. To make matters worse we can’t even change the white color. After witnessing the November update and realizing that 343 is capable of implementing new armor skins do you think it is possible that we’ll see the return of Locus’ signature “X” ? Locus is one of the few helmets to only have 1 skin right now.
Probably. They’re saving up some content to keep people playing.
Yeah I am a Fan of the customization of color. It doesn’t absolutely need the “X” even though I think it looks cool but the all white looks weird. So would it show as White on a Red vs Blue?

Yeah and it’s a complete eyesore too.
yeah the white blotches and streaks on the armor really take away from it
i wish they made those a separate skin/color option

Full black Locus would be sweet! I like the Xenomorph kinda look it has.
I’m not a fan of the 343 era armor
but I was able to stand it thanks to the godly locus helmet from halo 4 with overly awesome “X” I played that KOTH app game to get that and an emblem, I remember. Then like all things, 343 just takes the awesome things out.

I wish 343 could have carried the pre-ordered helmet over to Halo 5 since the only way to get this helmet was to purchase a Halo 4 copy through Mighty Ape (which is located in New Zealand). Not sure if it was worth the extra wait to get it for Halo 4; but if 343 brought the classic X back to Halo 5, I think a lot of people will be pleased. Enough of the Halo Reach armor!
