Locus helmet preorder question

Now, i’m fairly certain that the Deadeye helmet is quite literally the helmet not a skin that you get from Best Buy.
But as for the Locus helmet, is that a SKIN(preorder), or the helmet itself?

EDIT:
Just realized it is definitely a skin. The video that shows all helmets has none of the pre-order skins on it. Which is why Hazop only showed up with Alloy instead of Forest.

Appears to be a skin, good. Because I really want that Locus helmet. I can live without a giant “shoot me X” on my face.

Locus is MightyApe exclusive. But i’m fairly sure it’s the skin. Simply because the corner of the little card says “Helmet Skin” but it doesn’t say what the helmet skin is called.
Best Buy says just “Helmet” in the corner.

I think they both are helmets because I have seen multiple videos a helmet set page on a halo website(can’t remember it) and there was only 1 deadeye and only 1 locus helmet and no other version of them.

That’s what worries me. But the video I saw showing all the helmets at PAX, the guy was like white and red, and there was no X on the Locus helmet when he passed it.
