There should be a way to unlock the other variant just like with:
Web Cio preorder - you can get the regular Cio with spartan slayer.
Hazop Forest skin from gamestop - you can get hazop through coms as well
Gungnir w/e skin - You can get regular gungnir from slayer victorys
So there must be SOME commendation to unlock these helmets?

I would say that Everything should be unlockable in game. It’s totally unfair that you miss some content from preorder, specially becouse you can’t preorder the game from every retailer to the all the bonuses. It’s just a sh*t like they made it…
Yeah I’m a little sad I can’t have Deadeye, its one of the few helmets I really like.
As for Locus, that can be obtained via the Halo 4 King of the Hill app. It’s time consuming, but people have been using GPS spoofers to speed up the process. I don’t know the consequences of faking your location, but it’s to your discretion if you do, OP.

I, too, was disappointed with the wide ranges of armor exclusives. Hopefully they will be made available in the road ahead. I also hope 343i does not continue this for Halo 5.
