Am I the only one who hates this map? On XBConnect it’s the only one you ever play and it just got SO old after 30 matches… Why don’t people see the beauty of Midship, Battle Canyon, and Coagulation?
Lockout is my favorite Halo 2 map. (:
All of them are great, but Lockout is made just so fantastically. It’s beautiful, developed well, and overall fantastic.
But 30 rounds is overkill, like with how in the Halo Reach Living Dead Playlist, everybody always chooses Sword Base as a map. Hopefully they’ll pick another map to freak over and leave Lockout alone. I still think Lockout is an awesome map.
I love lockout as a map, but when I’m XBconnecting that’s all that is chosen unless I’m hosting (then it never gets picked) and honestly Sword Base is one of my favorite Halo maps of all time (except for Living Dead, I hate it on living dead )

Yeah, I love that map, but I’ve overplayed it. It’s overplayed.
While I do not like coagulation, and I do get into way too many midship games, I would love to see some CTF on waterworks in there, just as long as there are more than 2 people playing on the server. Would be very fun.
Coagulation is by no means my favorite, I just love Blood Gulch so I enjoy it’s spiritual successors. It is definitely fun to host an all Snipers FFA game there.
Lockout is one of my favorite maps ever, but playing nothing but BR/Snipers on Lockout on XBC gets really old really fast.

Yeah, even then though, 90% of XBC games are closed so when I do find a game I’m just happy that I get to play
Lockout may be the best map in the history of Halo, but b/c of that title it’s also the most overplayed map.
If you’re sick of playing nothing but Lockout or Midship on XBC, then I don’t recommend getting H2V either b/c that game plays nothing but Coagulation and District. LAN is the way to go in my opinion.

If you join the right games you will see Midship and Warlock in the mix along with other maps…
Me and a buddy Host games pretty often, where we just super-bounce or trick jump for fun. We play a game called J.U.M.P.S. its essentially HORSE with Trick/ Tactical Jumps. Lockout is my favorite for this Game Mode

In terms of lockout. I enjoy it but it is played a lot on Kai and Connect. I think the reason is because lockout is a small map and will have less lag usually. It is also a fun map more people want to play on. Most people do not join games on midship when a lockout game is available. When people see more people in a game they are more likely to join that game and so it sort of builds on itself.
