Lockout highly accurate remake

I haven’t done spawns or weapon spawns yet. It took me more hours to finish this than I care to admit. As soon as I get more free time I’ll finish and re-release a final version along with game types for a better Halo 2 feel. I just wanted to show it off and get it out faster to people who want to do their own spawns and weapons.

I’ve been looking for a decent Lockout remake and I have yet to find one. I know there are some out there, but they don’t really feel like Lockout. I took the liberty of recreating it myself. Although not perfect, I can almost guarantee it’s the most accurate one you’ve seen yet.

I have a bunch of pictures in my file share also to hopefully save you some time checking it out. Sadly Waypoint’s file share system isn’t working yet, but it’s probably almost as fast and easy to look in game.

To find it:

Press start to go into your customize menu. Go down and all the way right to the file browser. Obviously if you want the maps choose Map Variants, and if you want to look at the pictures choose Screenshots. Go down to File Share Search and choose it, choose gamertag, and put in CaLL me Raaandy (I don’t think it’s case sensitive, but spaces!). Hit ok, then search. Ta daa!

Please enjoy. I put a lot of time and effort in to this, and I don’t really get anything out of it besides your enjoyment.

Not bad.

Few issues though.

BR Tower and Lift room need to be closer to top mid. There are quite a few cracks in the floors and rails that grenades can disappear through. There shouldn’t be a rail outside of BR 1 to bottom mid.

One major problem I see. 343 WILL NEVER ADD IT TO MATCHMAKING CAUSE THAT PROVES THEY CARE.

Thanks for the input. I just realized when the lift tower was almost finished (after I did top mid), I realized the front lift plat was too long, and I shortened it some. I don’t know why I wasn’t thinking of the effect it would have on that jump. I think if I re extend it, it’ll work, but it might still feel too long of a plat.

As for the barrier, I’ll fix it. And the BR to mid, I did what I could with what I had to work with. I know it’s not perfect but it’s better than any I’ve played on (not to toot my own horn).
