First of all the Monitors on this site are fantastic and they are good at their job on this site and getting rid of the nasty bits around the forums. But when they need to lock a thread I think they should leave a reason why, because I found myself and have seen others confused as to why it has been locked.
There has been times where it has been obvious as to why certain threads have been locked but there has been other times where is has left some people wondering why. But there has been reasons posted sometimes why a thread has been lock but not all the time.
I’m asking just as a member of the site could the Monitors post an explanation why they are going to lock a thread just to avoid a little confusion.

It’s fairly obvious why most threads are locked. Most of the time they do leave a reason, other times, just look at OPs post. If it’s necrobumped, it’ll be locked, and if it’s a repeat thread, it’ll be locked.

yes i know it can be obvious why a thread is locked as i stated that, i know they usually do say why it has been locked but there has been times where there hasnt been a reason. And some threads that are normal and not repeat thread have been locked, i know they will have a reason to lock it leave a reason as to why.

wow your making the moderators look bad with that post definitely not helpful. With a post like that i dont think the Moderators would want you speaking for them.
I try to post a reason for a lock. The exceptions are: when a thread is being merged, it’s obvious why the post is locked, or if I’ve just locked multiple threads for the same reason in a very short span.

I definitely wasnt getting at the Mods’ i really like all the mods on this site, Lycan XIII annoyed me with his comment and making it look like i’m speaking up against the Mod’s when its quite clear in my OP that i said it in a polite manner and complimented all the mod’s.
Maybe i didnt look at things properly and shouldnt have made this thread.
No i dont have any at the minute, i have seen a few past couple of weeks locked and some people wondering why. It dosnt matter anymore, it’s like im being nasty just because a said something about the mod’s which was in nice manner.

Not at all. I asked a simple question since you brought up something that you feel could use improvement. I was hoping you could provide some examples so we could take a look and see if we had answers for you. There’s no malice or anything involved and I’m sorry you feel that way.
At this point, I am locking the thread as there are no examples to be had. In the future if that happens, feel free to PM any of us if you have any questions like this again.
