Could Agent Locke’s team be Team Sabre, think about it- 3 Spartans were left in Team Sabre after Onyx, there are 3 Spartans in Locke’s team, all three of said spartans were KIA , we know this has happened before with ONI with Kurt 051 and others, we know that, assuming they survived would have kept on growing- so size is no concern.

What do you think?

Team Sabre is dead, they were confirmed dead in a Catalog post, and as that is 343i’s mouth piece for canon, there’s nothing else to say about it. It sucks, I know, but them’s the breaks.

I feel like it’d steal too much spotlight from Locke. That or his role would be marginalized.

I don’t think it will be Sabre, though I still have doubts that Sabre died.

I hope Buck doesn’t join the S-IV program. He’s one of the last major non Spartan characters.

The new book has a hint of him joining apparently. Haven’t read yet. Though his age is a bit on the high side to start being a Spartan

As a friend on the forum explained, Buck choosing work over a life with Dare would completely throw out the subplot of ODST. Buck and Dare are suppose to settle down. If he joins the Spartan IV program, they better have a reason, like Dare dies or they blackmail him or something along those lines. I do not mind them turning their best soldiers into Spartans and doing that with almost all of the characters, but Buck does not fit this.
