So, who do you think would win in a fight?
Me? Noble 6 ALL THE WAY!!!
how’s this even a question? there’s only one answer here.
Am I the only one who enjoyed N6 more than locke?
A cat-2 Spartan III vs a Spartan IV?
Noble 6 easy
Weirdly, I thought there was bound to be a halo 5 fanboy
When I think of this my mind goes back to Winter Contingency. Where B312 was fighting an Elite Zealot and almost lost if it weren’t for Carter jumping in. But then here we have Locke who single handedly took down Jul 'Mdama.
Noble 6 will win easy
If he wasn’t dead
I like Buck and that’s about it on FT Osirus.
But N6? All of the characters had… well, character! You loved em all! And you felt pretty damn bad as their numbers dwindled. I know I did.

Yup. You never got a connection to Osiris in game. But instead you had to read a book, comic arc, and a crappy film to get a connection to 3/4 of them.

Exactly.
All those other media plugs should have Expanded the story and characters, not have been the only real source.
You introduce a character in a video game, especially one as loved as the Halo franchise, but don’t give any real reason for the players to ‘like’ them or find them interesting, especially if you also have them on a team (meaning you have to do that for the Entire team and not just one character) then people won’t pick up on them nearly as fast as a singular character who might not have as much dialogue (IE: Master Chief).
Because we only had the Chief, and most of the talking by Cortana, in Halo: CE, that’s who players got behind and wanted to know more about. And we got that as the series progressed. All the books and comics and whatnot just expanded on the history behind the chief and the war.
They kinda just… blitz’d us with Fireteam Osirus. Too many characters we don’t know anything about and then very little development with them. Plus your again splitting our interests with Master Chief and Cortana as well as other original Spartans who players have wanted to see since they were mentioned in books or passing years ago.
It was kind of a bad choice to throw so many characters at us in one game. Very much like a super hero movie where they have too many villains and it feels more like a jumbled mess then any real fight coughSpiderman3cough
Reaction if someone said Locke:
“Negative. I have the gun.”
But seriously, Noble 6 was rated hyper lethal, and as deadly as Master Chief. And we know how Chief vs Locke ended. Exact same thing would happen with N6 vs Locke. Heck, Noble Team is way better than Osiris. Noble all the way.

Well, Locke had a team. And that’s one Elite. However, Noble Six was alone, running out of ammo, tired, and injured. And he fought off an army by himself. So yeah… As for the Elite thing though, he ALMOST lost. ALMOST. N6 may have won that fight, we will never know

True. True. starts clapping, entire audience stands up and applauds
Of course Noble 6, it was our character we created and even Halsey stated that Noble Six was second deadliest Spartan.

^^^this and the fact that he was Cortana’s chosen one to take her to Commander Keys
In terms of character, Noble 6. Despite having only a few lines, Noble 6 still had oodles of personality in comparison to Jameson “I took too much Nyquil” Locke.
In terms of fighting ability, Noble 6. Six did some pretty impressive things in his relatively short life (orphaned by the war and became a super soldier, was a lone wolf head hunter before joining Noble team, blew up a Covenant cruiser, defended Reach and saved countless civilian lives, delivered Cortana and had an epic last stand to secure the Pillar of Autumn’s escape, etc). Locke’s claim to fame is coming up with a plan to kill the Arbiter (which he never carried out), killing Jul’ (with the help of a Promethean invasion, and he didn’t put up much of a fight) and chasing his “crush” Chief around for a while. Plus, Spartan III’s > Spartan “we’ll take anybody” IV’s.

Locke killing Jul was probably the most pathetic death of any villain ever… the Kilo-V books told so much about Jul, and personally, I think 343 killing him off so quickly wasn’t the best idea. He had a lot of potential left.
I would have really liked to see Arby and Jul have a fight during the Battle of Sunaion.
Noble 6 - not that its even a good thing worth thinking over.
It depends on how good the players playing them are. You know master chief is sometimes the greatest noob in the universe.

No no no, I’m not talking about the final mission, I’m talking about the first mission inside the Visegrad comm relay.
And for him winning… no. He’s dead, it’s not hard to see at all. And if you deny it, you’re delusional.
