Master Chief always finds a way. Spartans have always been very fast and strong in the novels, but Chief was always very slow in Halo 1-3 just because Bungie didn’t feel like showing off his true skills (or something).

*Because it didn’t fit gameplay-wise. They could have shown more in the cutscenes, but there never was much to show I believe? (except for cutscenes like Halo 2 Cairo Station bomb)
But SII’s and SIV’s are quite equal in strength. Master Chief was trained since 5 years old, Locke had a professional ONI training. Quite a hard choice. We could also say that Chief has more experience, but Locke is younger and fresher. xP
But to answer the question, I will go with Chief because he’s my damn hero. Not implying I hate Locke. I think they will end up not fighting each other because of X threat or x revelation blahblah

In my opinion Chief would win hands down in a fight especially because of his LUCK and all his experience and skill. Remember the chief has been in service for over 30 years by now and is probably the best soldier the UNSC has to offer. Oh and Locke? He is basically a green recruit fresh out of basic training compared to the chief combat wise, from what we have seen at least. (my opinion)

Don’t think there was a confirmation that he is completely inexperienced (not counting Nightfall)
I am sure he had missions assigned by the ONI. But yeah, it still isn’t comparable to that level.

True, I was just going off of what I remembered about him. Have not payed attention to Locke more than I probably should since he will be a playable character in Halo 5: Gaurdians. I was just using the just out of basic recruit as a comparison of their skill level gap heh.
