I know you need to pre order from Gamestop for Lockes armor, but can it also be unlocked in game?
Also about Helioskrill, if you beat all the Halo games in mcc on legendary do you get the armor for the full game or was that for the beta only?

Full game for the helioskrill. There’s no reason as to why they’d change it.
Locke’s armor can be unlocked immediately with the pre-order bonus, but I believe there is still another in game way to get it. Probably relatively difficult, or the pre-order bonus wouldn’t mean much.

Gamestop has the only one and its just Lockes armor
Oh well that just means all the armor should have a way to be unlocked in game then

Well, I suppose its better off than with H4 where some of the best armors like Deadeye and Locus were largely exclusive and few people got them. Whereas you can definitely get the Locke armor. The gamestop pre-order just helps you start off with a little more variety in your armor, especially if you played the beta and already unlocked a few sets.

Now that’s interesting. Haven’t heard that yet. Thanks for sharing. I suppose that makes sense, cause they could easily change their minds on what levels certain armors get unlocked at.

Honestly I do think it was a tad of a no brainer that armor unlocks outside of the achievement ones would be reset. I mean, they’ve probably made quite a few adjustments to the way armor unlocks are handle as well as the two ranking systems. Resetting the ranks means resetting the armor unlocks as well.
all Pre-order bonuses from Retail Providers are earnable in-game.
I think the Hunter Armour will be available as an exotic REQ item. Helioskrill will probably remain the same as currently, complete MCC on legendary.
