Right now I think mostly everyone just dislikes fireteam Osiris because they are hunting Blue Team down.
I have a theory where sometime in the game (the climax) will be a solution to Locke and Chief’s (hunting game). Im trying to say that when Locke finally, how do I say this, catches up to Blue Team… Blue Team/Chief explains he actually is doing nothing wrong. Osiris could agree with Chief and they are both friends! (Locke basically finds out the truth and is neutral)
Osiris is just another spartan 4 fireteam… how can anyone actually expect Osiris to “capture/hold” Blue Team?
Isn’t it already known that Chief and Locke team up at some point? But…No Spartan IV will ever beat a II
I kinda see something like this comming too. Gotta find out by ourselves.
I just see blue team smacking those glorified OSDTS down a rat hole .

These are not regular Spartan IVs these guys were brought together for a reason to hunt the master chief you know the best of the best. Unlike most people I think they have a chance at beating Blue team from what I seen and read. I actually want to se Osiris beat Blue team in a fight just to show people that Spartan IIs are not the godly unbeatable soldiers they make them out to be compared to the other Spartans.

They only why I can see it happen is in a Plot Device. like Oni gives Locke some -Yoink- ability to lock up Blue teams Armor those Gloried ODST’s would never be able to go toe to toe with Spartan II’s they Superior in every way and they just don’t have the combat experience.
I have a feeling theres more to ONIs mission to hunt down the chief and I feel like once locke catches up to him he will find out what is really going on and join the chief. I’m hoping there is some kind of central antagonist though like in halo 4 and I don’t think any one person at ONI would be as formidable as the didact.
so my hope is that ONI is trying to some how control the guardians and that at the end chief/locke have to fight a giant guardian or something like that. hopefully at the end you find out the guardian that you killed was like a foot soldier so to speak and that you have pissed off a much more powerful foe who you will fight in the sequel. maybe the guardians indoctornate ONI higher ups or something like that… kind of like killing Crota summons Oryx for anyone who played destiny.
I doubt they’ll ever actually fight, by the time Locke catches up with blue team he may have seen evidence that what they’ve been doing is necessary and let them go.
Well what i expect is that Buck will be the first to turn over to Chiefs Side, at least from what i could tell from the E3 Trailer what he says to Locke, Buck seems not really to be a Fan of Hunting down the Chief. So I call Buck will be the Voice of reason in Fireteam Osiris…yes i said it, Buck, Nathan Fillion will be the voice of reason.

Well yeah there not regular Spartan 4s but they are still spartan 4s just a little better.
Your mistake as seeing Spartan 2s as military hardware, my Spartans are humanities next step as a species__, do not underestimate them, and most of all, do not underestimate him__

Yeah they said about halfway through, and a 4 can be matched with a 2 in armor.

There was a little challenge 343 had made to disable a spartans armor, and you’re wrong about a 4 not being able to go toe to toe with a 2, they can possibly beat a 2 in armor, so 2s aren’t godly.

To me the ending is more like everybody starts taking off their helmets, and then we get to chief and as he’s about to take his off , it cuts to black. Or something like that.

Well, though i’d expect some epic fight if that happens, But I feel Chief would be hard to take down. The dude “evolutionary journey” been sped up by The Librarian, other than the composer immunity that was hidden, we dont know what else Librarian did to Chief. I would have thought after that, that would make Chief the strongest of all spartans, regardless of what generation of spartan they are.

Well, the thing with Spartan IVs is that they cover a much wider base of skill sets. All of the Spartan IIs were OP as heck because they were selectively chosen for their genes, and then were carved to be solely killing machines for their entire lives. Spartan IVs are a bit more diverse. It’s better explained in New Blood when Buck talks about his Spartan training. Some Spartan IVs really are just marines/ODSTs in power armor. However, others that volunteer happen to have a more “advanced” set of genes akin to the Spartan IIs. So in basic training, one Spartan IV could tower above all his squad mates, because he’s on the higher end of the preferred Spartan make up. So there are the base Spartan IVs, but the program allows for “outliers” so to say. As in, there could be a Spartan IV with the abilities of a marine and a Spartan IV with the abilities/skill of someone in Blue Team within the same batch. So you can’t really generalize the Spartan IVs as super elite or glorified ODST. It has members on both ends of the spectrum. Fire team Osiris was put together with 4 Spartans who exemplified top marks and abilities in their fields. These guys are the best of the Spartan IVs, which (as I stated earlier) could very well put them somewhat close to Blue Teams level. Especially with the Gen 2 armor. (Sorry for no paragraphs I’m on mobile).
Well as Lock said chief is a ‘verified traitor’. So he is probably going to shoot to kill.

You can’t really blame him. As far as Locke and most of humanity knows, Chief is a crazed mass murderer. He’s only doing what he thinks is right for humanity

Thing is though blue team has access to the gen 2 armor as well. And spartan II’s were bred for war and trained in every aspect of it not just fighting but tactics and various other parts of it. They aren’t just these killing machines they’re tacticians and have fought for the entire covenant war. They have experience and training none of the spartan IV’s have maybe it’s been touched on but the spartan II’s have a masters degree were as the spartan IV’s have an associates degree.

Even if Locke goes to kill Chief, he wont be taken down that easily surely, I believe that whatever Librarian did to chief in halo 4, will be further explored in Halo 5 because his evolutionary journey sped up. That said, wouldnt that make him much stronger than all the current spartans?

You are right that Blue team has far more experience. But I’m not so sure that Fireteam Osiris is as inferior to them as everyone thinks. It’s made up of a wide array of skill sets that when combined make Osiris a force to be reckoned with. It’s an interesting comparison- Blue Team is effective because they are all so similar and they’ve all been through the same thing. Osiris looks to be effective because they’re UNIQUE from eachother. They each contribute a separate aspect of their field, making them extremely versatile and overall a better unit. It’s quite interesting really. They’re DISunity is actually what unites them into a better team
