OK, here’s the thing. I buy Halo games: 50% for the Campaign and 50% for multiplayer. I am heading home from work in 20 mins to play the game for the first time and I have worryingly just read on IGN that you play 80% of the game as Spartan Locke. Now, don’t get me wrong. I think Locke is a great character and I don’t mind playing as him in parts of the game, but I swear to God! If it’s true, that 80% of the game is played as Locke and 20% as Master Chief I really won’t be happy! I may be judging it too soon but I am worried that Chief will become a secondary character in future games from the way they are pushing Locke as a character…I would be happy with a 50/50 split as each character… What do you guys think? Let’s make our voices heard… No spoilers please!!!
Well Fireteam Osiris has more missions yes, BUT the Blue Team missions with Chief are longer.
Osiris missions are 20-30 minutes long well at least for me on Heroic difficulty
Blue Team missions are like 50-60 minutes long if you don’t rush it.
Although it is true that you play as Locke more, the mission set ups are different. The Chief’s missions are longer in contrast to Locke’s, so despite Locke having more mission, the Master Chief has the longer ones.
Locke (Fireteam Osiris) = more missions
Chief (Blue Team) = missions more longer
Excellent! Good to hear. Thanks for your replies guys…who do you prefer playing as?
3 Master Chief missions out of the 15. And if you run both the Master Chief/Locke missions the same way, then they’re about the same length.
