Local splitscreen

With MCC updates slowing down or ending, please add local splitscreen to MCC on PC. There’s no reason for it to not be there. I would like to play with 2 controllers like I do on plenty of games locally on PC.

Agreed. I keep running into social situations where my friends want to play Halo, but I have to turn them down and explain that I have the PC version, it’s always so embarrassing.

Its inclusion would go so far for the Master Chief Collection too. Modders would have a blast, a ton of achievements would be far more feasible, and, with Infinite’s release, matchmaking needs all the players it can get. With Steam, players can use Steam Remote Play so multiple people can have split-screen from far away, which would be a great temporary solution for the lack of cross-platform campaign games.

I’d love to see enhanced split-screen features, like granting 4 player split-screen to firefight, campaign, spartan ops, and custom graphics settings so players can adjust how well it runs, but honestly, I’ll take anything. If it functions on the most basic level, no matter how bad, I’ll take it. I’m that desperate for such an important feature in Halo.

We were promised local split screen there is no reason we should not have it by now… modders have adeded it months and months and months ago… Zero excuses bungie.

There is a mod for it. Nucleus Coop is the name. It works by running multiple copies of the game at the same time and networks them locally. Take a look if you haven’t already.

I tried it and it in fact works well. Matchmaking is currently not possible with local splitscreen, though. Huge shame since that is kinda the whole point for me.

343 sucks sometimes.
