Can 343 Industries make an updates for local multiplayers or not?

Are you asking if 343 can add splitscreen in an update? If so, 343 has stated that they cannot add it through an update, but splitscreen should return in Halo 6.

As of now, it’s not possible due to hardware limitations and stuff like that. I’m sure LAN will be usable in future halos.
