This forum post is about multiplayer capabilities. Local multiplayer to be exact. Local multiplayer is a Halo tradition. Every Halo game since the original Halo: Combat Evolved featured split screen. This is an opportunity to hone you Spartan skills without having to get killed off 10 times in your first five games of Warzone. I agree fully that the online multiplayer experience is nearly flawless, but I do enjoy having a place to train with my friends and family offline. This is also for newbies to the Halo universe. This is a chance to take it easy before jumping headlong into a Warzone/Arena match.

Agreed. The decision to strip out split screen in favor of frames per second was a bad one.
