Local Files Lost and Server Connections

First post here on the forums, but I have been a follower of the Halo Universe ever since Halo 1. I’ve owned every game to support the franchise, but ever since Halo 3, I’ve always been plagued with certain issues. This includes local files such as created maps and game modes and the inability to use in game party features flawlessly.

This has occurred in Halo Reach, Halo 4, Halo MCC, and now Halo 5. I create a bunch of custom maps that are sometimes quite expansive and required weeks to develop in spare time. Then, an update will hit the game and one or multiple local files will be lost. I got lucky sometimes and the files would simply revert to default map/gametype names. So, I only had to load the map/games to figure out which was which and rename them. After taking a break for a couple of months from Halo 5 to continue my semester at college (I can only play during breaks since my connection isn’t strong enough to be allowed on Halo servers for even forge…), I logged back on over spring break to find that one of my maps reverted to a previous save, which will require a ton of hours to redo. Then, my friend couldn’t join my Fireteam even though both of us use 60 MB/s internet. I grew so furious I went back to Battlefront. My post here to this forum is my last plea for these issues to be resolved so I can actually enjoy all the new features that do work on Halo 5. I love the new Forge, but if my files don’t save then what’s the point???

P.S. If Infection game modes still have the bug where the round doesn’t end when the one alpha infected with one life dies (The living have to suicide to end the round…) or placed weapons, not just turrets, don’t show up in infection games, I’m calling quits on Halo…
