Just some small things I’ve noticed while playing split-screen co-op the last few nights.
#1. The target reticle on the magnum is really difficult to see. I play on a 50" HDTV w/HD cables, and its nearly impossible to see. It’s almost like playing with the Blind skull on.
#2. Weapon pick up image on your HUD is also very difficult to see.
Hey 343, hopefully in a short time there will be sort of update to fix other issues in this game, but if you guys can fix these two issues I’d be a happy gamer.
I wish it was split vertically instead of horizontally. You can harldy see some of the weapons.

Nah, vertical split is horrible, at least if it’s anything like Halo 2, where some genius in the game studio decided that a ~40-degree FOV was a good idea.
They just need a higher vertical FOV, and if it’s too weird doing that in a 32:9 frame (since that would require a ~140-degree horizontal FOV to avoid distortion), then they should have made it a fullscreen window.
Verticle split screen? Christ, I don’t think I could play the game that way.
No game should ever have vertical splitscreen.
i’ve noticed that when playing local co-op campaign, the game does not save your last checkpoint! when selecting resume from the main menu it reverts back to the very first mission! Am I simply missing something obvious here, or is this a problem. The issue does not exist when playing solo campaign - come on guys get this sorted!!!
