As of yet I’m not convinced. I’m a MP guy so campaign isn’t much for me. The warzone gametype looks fun and interesting but not convincing enough. 343i better come with something bigger than just a new gametype to convince me and others like me.
Yeah, for me, both the new gametype and the inclusion of blue team in the campaign are exciting thoughts, but it doesn’t quite make up for the horrible co-op news.
Campaign in local coop is the only reason I continued buying Halo games after the first one(also the only reason I bought the Gears of War games).
So will skip the fifth game if they don’t reverse this decision. Haven’t gotten an xbox one yet for that matter… Was waiting for this game…
Hopefully MS/343 will come to their senses.
The best of halo always haS been te split screen if halo guardians Dont has that. I Dont want the game…that will be another call of duty
Again, I posted this in the OFFICIAL SPLITSCREEN THREAD (which is where this should be), if your entire decision is based upon if it has splitscreen, you really shouldn’t be playing Halo to begin with.
If it is a good game I will buy it. Simple as that.

What’s your reasoning behind that?

Some of us wish to have an option that has been available to us since the beginning. My wife and I have enjoyed playing campaign together since Halo: CE. Matchmaking split screen was also something we deeply enjoyed since Halo 3. Since some people do not always want to play online, it is unwise to completely eliminate the option to play split screen for campaign. Furthermore, the option for split screen matchmaking should still be available. Some of us do not have anyone else to play video games other than our spouse or family members.
With all of that said, how do come to the opinion of who should and should not play the game? Halo was a split screen game before it was an Xbox Live capable game. I have noticed over the years that each Halo had an abundance of players who played split screen in matchmaking. I have played split screen my wife since I have been a XBL member. So I do not see how you believe some people should not base their decision to buy this game on split screen. It seems pretty logical to me.
I want local co-op
