I’m really enjoying Halo 5 so far and have now discernible issues when I’m playing, but I’ve found that there a some pre-game things that are bugging me.
My first issue is that very time I leave a matchmaking search the game goes through a loading screen to the main menu rather than just taking me back to the gametype selection screen. This isn’t a major problem but it get annoying waiting for the load to finish when all I want to do is change from Warzone to Warzone Assault.
My other issues are with the lobbies. Every time I find a game there are people making really annoying noises or shouting down their mics and I have no way to mute them. It’s only a few seconds that I have to deal with but it’s annoying when I’m trying to talk to my friends. I reckon 343i should’ve used a Halo:Reach-esque pre-game lobby. This would let us mute the noisy players and also look at everyone’s spartans and stats.
Anyone agree with me on some or all of this? I could go into a lot more detail about these annoyances but I figure they are perhaps a bit small for a 1000 word angrily written essay.
