As we all know Halo 4 will have custom loadouts in war games matchmaking. From what I have seen they give a lot of options to suit your play style. From armor abilities to mods that optimize your spartan for specific roles and even the guns and grenades you take into battle.
So what I’m getting at is this, with all these options I’m looking forward to seeing everybody’s unique style.[seeing all the different types of armor will also be cool]So I’m wondering from what 343i has shown, what do you think you will use?
I plan to make what gonna call my vanguard class.
Primary: Assault Rifle
Secondary: Boltshot
Grenade: Plasma
Armor Ability: Thruster
Mod 1: Mobility
Mod 2: Shielding
I’m going for close range heavy hitter. How about you?

You can have the suppressor and the DMR if you use the firepower mod.

Yeah I,ve been having that same issue. I think you can find out a lot from the PAX videos people have posted on youtube.
Battle Rifle for it’s overall usefulness and versatility, and the Arctic Skin is -Yoink!-. Magnum for fast swap times and zoom. Plasmas for taking out vehicles, although their damage seems to be reduced quite a bit(as it should be, seeing as you can spawn with them now). Thruster Pack will probably be the best AA like Evade was in Reach(not counting sprint). Wetworks for countering Promethean Vision, which I think a lot of noobs will use, and quiet footsteps and quicker assassinations fits my playstyle perfectly. Mobility for getting around fast, and it compliments Wetworks nicely(infinite sprint AND less sound, badass).

AA: Hologram
Tactical Package: Firepower
Support Package: Stability or Awareness
The main goal for this loadout is to be able to shoot accurately at long range. I wanna be able to get the drop on players. This may struggle a bit a close quarters so I’m thinking about putting a Battle Rifle as my secondary.
