So I was watching one of halofollowers new videos and he stated that LOADOUTS along with a ton of weapons will be in halo 2A, I’m skeptical about this, but this really has me worried, your thoughts?
EDIT: It’s only weapons sets… Phew

It’s Halofollower.
New weapons and vehicles are being added. Think of it like a Director’s Cut edition of Halo 2.
-These are only for the six Anniversary maps, and forge/customization will certainly allow you to make everything more classic.
It’s Halofollower.
I haven’t heard anything about loadouts. Considering that it is styled after Halo 2, I highly doubt they will have loadouts.
That’ll only be for the 6 remade maps, not Halo 2 in general.
Heh heh.
It almost sounded like you gave Halofollower some actual credence for a moment there…
Could be in there purely because it was built upon Halo 4’s engine? or an experiment?, or just in case we want it for customs?
The fact there are no AAs in Halo 2 means that loadouts carry less weight anyway, unless of course AAs are back in there too. In which case Halo 2 anni is actually a hybrid of Halo 4 design and Halo 2 weapon balance, sandbox and levels.
Most likely (and hopefully) it’s just for certain gametypes, as an option. One that I can’t imagine most players taking kindly to. Personally I don’t see it happening in regular matchmaking.
Sounds as if you’ve been clickbaited OP.
Ya halofollower is not a reliable place for info for anything halo really a lot of it just random theories and speculation suggest you stick with the official Halo forums for better info for future halo titles.
> So I was watching one of halofollowers new videos and he stated that LOADOUTS along with a ton of weapons will be in halo 2A, I’m skeptical about this, but this really has me worried, your thoughts?
Problem solved.
Do you honestly believe everything that Halofollower say’s…?
It really annoys me how most of that channel’s videos are pure clickbait, with no evidence to back up these outrageous claims. No, OP. It isn’t true (as many people in the thread have pointed out). That, or Halofollower knows something we dont, which is extremely improbable.
Come to think of it, there aren’t that many reliable gaming news sources on YouTube…with the exception of the odd few.

I don’t see why people don’t just come here for Halo news, that or RTX or something. It’s obvious all people are going to get elsewhere is pure speculation and commentary on a spec of dust on a picture that kinda looks like a flood arm. #floodconfirmedforhalo5
HaloFollower is a nice guy but his content has shrunk from actual news to clickbait, not to mention that whole pyramid scheme.
Halofollower got that wrong. There are no loadouts in Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer. Weapon sets means that there will be different weapons spawning on the map based on the gametype.
This is my problem with Youtube as a whole. The whole videogame section has become kids who like to talk for money. It doesn’t matter what they say, say something no one else is saying and put it to COD gameplay, even if you are talking about the new Batman game or say something everyone else has already said but put it to a picture of the gameplay that was shown, or just a compilation of “skillful kills” of a previous game, and boom you’re done.
Especially for something like minecraft it’s mucked as hell. It’s not a guy giving you a guide and explanation of why the game works like that or just playing the game a normal person would, it’s a guy doing some sort of kids show version of a walkthrough giving you a run down of everything he is doing in a funny voice as he is doing it. (Not that I watch videos of games to find out how to play them, I do it myself)
I wouldn’t mind, but I have my nephew over to play games and he’s 10 now, and he thinks that’s how you’re suppose to play games. He doesn’t talk to me or his friends online, he gives us a run down of everything he is doing. God help us, Halo was the last game to really have communication and thought behind it. No wonder I stalk these forums on my rare days off
But off rant and on topic. I knew something sounded off about it having loadouts.
First off don’t hate on HaloFollower. I don’t see any of you dedicating your time to giving Halo news.
Secondly, as everyone said its “Weapon Sets”. Like power weapon spawns and weapon placements. Nothing to worry if you’re a classic Halo fan

“News”

If I had the time I would do better fact checking and better informational gathering then he does ,the fact that he’s a kid he has plenty of time to do these so-called news videos and there’s nothing wrong what he is doing he’s just most of the halo community doesn’t like it because it doesn’t do it right and I think he is selling out now because if you’ve seen all of stuff recently he is really promoting his channel / brand of his.
Chris… Needs to stop feeding the peanut gallery their fuel to complain about all the content that is provided.
“Disappointed that the campaign is not 1080p >implying that people will care about my videos through this opinion, subscribe and donate to my Patreon!”
^Yeah that’s a totally unbiased, relevant, news-appropriate little quip
> So I was watching one of halofollowers new videos
There’s your problem.
> First off don’t hate on HaloFollower. I don’t see any of you dedicating your time to giving Halo news.
News? It’s just a bunch of wild speculation and sensationalist headlines.
Halo Follower is probably speculating based on the fact that the Assault Rifle, SMG (Dual Wieldable), Silence/Scoped SMG, Battle Rifle, and Rebalanced Magnum are all included in the game.
343i has not claimed that Loadouts are in the Halo 2 Anniversary Engine. And even if they do wind up being available? I’d doubt they will be in default gametypes, only the rarer Infinity ones.
I have heard we are getting the Silenced SMG and a Mongoose with a mounted gun of some sort.
