I was looking over the new reqs in the Hog Wild update and noticed there is a new Hybrid DMR that is a green. This is awesome! Everyone that is starting new will now have an easier time than I did getting a DMR (level 82 before I got mine). This is by far my favorite gun to use. I honestly feel like they should have a level 1 weapon for each of the loadouts you can use. I’m even fine with having the DMR and SMG and BR have more kick than normal or some other thing that makes the weaker than the higher level reqs if it mean getting it as a starting weapon. What say you guys? Good idea or bad idea?
Well there definitely needs to be a DMR that’s easier to get. Warzone is manageable with a longshot BR, but the DMR is so deadly that it can make it difficult for new warzone players who don’t have many reqs unlocked. Some people get to CSR level 80+ and still don’t have a DMR, which is kind of silly. In answer to your question, I think level 1- 3 is too soon for players to be busting out DMR’s and SMG’s. I like the gradual build to better weapons as you earn points in each game.
I’ve been out of the online loop for a week or so, is this that bit from the teaser where the dmr had a carbine sight or some new bit of information about hog wild?
Let’s be clear, scarcity is different from REQ level. I suspect that even IF this DMR is actually uncommon (could be a mistake with creating the teaser cards, like last time) then it’s still probably going to be at least REQ level 6 to use it, because I doubt it will be easier to pull than the lvl6 base model.
That said, I’m thrilled that players will have an easier time getting this thing (again, presuming that the card is accurate)!
