hey guys i would like to know if its true that when you put a silencer to your dmr or br it is slighty weaker than without the silencer?
Still a 5-shot and 4-shot kill, respectively. I haven’t noticed any penalty to range or accuracy while using them.
its more of an effect than anything. There are not damage boosting add ons to any guns. only thing you can do that affects them is the long barrel and the stabilizer attachments.
kinetic bolts makes the damage a /tiny/ bit higher to vehicles and only vehicles.

The only effect the silencer has is to reduce your visibility on the motion tracker when you are firing.
it keeps you off of the mini map while firing, add this to the advance sensor perk and its deadly. cant tell you how any times ive just walked into an enemy base and cleaned house without anyone realizing
Silencer makes you not show up on radar for shooting, only if you are already making sure you are not on radar. So you are not moving, or crouching while moving, or just moving slow enough to not ping on radar, you will not show up. Normally when you shoot, if you are within someone’s radar range you show up even when standing still.
