However, on-topic, I agree and don’t understand why we can spawn with 2 plasmas but only 1 Pulse Grenade.

It wasn’t in most normal game modes as a start. Also, armor lock could negate it. (Don’t have that anymore.) And vehicles had a lot more space to go around.
But agreed. You’ve already got them lying around on map. Just don’t let us start with them. Or Plasma Pistols.
Agree. I’ve always liked the Warthog, but I’m not using it in Halo 4 because it’s just a triple kill on wheels for someone sticking two plasmas to my ride…

PGs are not the problem but, the weakness of all vehicles is!
Keep PGs in loadouts. Make it that at least three need to take out Ghosts and Hogs and four to take out Scorpion/Wraiths.
They’ve killed CQC for me. I used to love close encounters back in the CE-3 days, but now, I can’t, because some -Yoink- will always get me. That’s your reward for being a better player these days.

You know and I know that is a false statement.
Do I really have to start saving tons of game footage to show you how many times people miss with their PGs?
You state that it’s killed your CQC and you hate the PG, yet, in Slayer, you have 430 kills with PG and its your 4th most used killing method.

put weapons on the map and get rid of loadouts altogether.

This guy is so correct, 343 could fix hundreds of problems by removing the stupid load outs and putting weapons back on the maps. But that would make sense and make the game truly like Halo.

No, he is incorrect. It hasn’t ruined Halo.
The solution is not to remove LOs (nor AAs, ODs etc) but,to have two sets of lists/game modes which satisfies everyone.
There really are two groups of players in the new world of Halo now and moving forward. 343i has shown that it is not now, nor will it ever take an either or approach. Everything 343i has done over recent weeks and months shows that for Halo 4 and beyond, their version of Halo is here to stay but they are willing to provide an alternate version for those old school Halo fans.
So, there will be and should be play lists and game modes with AAs, LOs, ODs, JIP and whatever else…you do not have to like it but plenty of others will. But, there is starting to be and should be play lists and game modes without AAs, LOs, ODs, JIP or whatever else…the other group does not have to like it but plenty of you will.
All the forums of we are for AC or against every single little aspect of Halo 4 is going to destroy Halo. 343i really has no option but to cater for both camps. Actually, ether are three camps, IMO. One that likes the new Halo MM,one that likes the old Halo MM (aka Halo2/3) and a third that actually likes both. I am of the third group. I like the opportunity to play 343i new Halo MM and all its implementations but, also play the new things which the community has called for, such as Team Throwdown.
AAs, ODs, LOs etc are here to stay whether you like it or not. They will be in Halo 5. I hope that additional AAs, Tac packages etc are added to the current offerings. I hope we get 10 load out slots instead of five.
But, I want “you” to have play lists and game modes in Halo 5 where everyone starts with a preset load-out, no AAs, no ODs, no JIP and so on.
343i, you know you can do that. Nothing less should be provided at launch for Halo 5. You have collectively admitted mistakes where made and that you are listening. Your actions, 343i, show that you are responding the best you can.
Well, Halo 5 should be awesome as long as you,343i,do not take sides and go down the either or path. Do the right thing and have something for everyone on launch day. I have faith that you can and will but, time will tell.
The thing is I’m not even talking about the weakness of vehicles, that’s a different story (they are like tinfoil). Everyone can loadout with two plasma grenades and if they’re losing a battle (and not to brag but they do a lot), they just chuck a sticky in my face and it’s a draw, even if my skill gave me that victory. It ruins my spree, and my mood.
completely agree. it’s insane. they are basically magnets. and some people JUST use them, without even firing a shot. They just unload two or (god forbid) three in a row. It’s disgusting.
