Load-outs for armor customization?

I like the Idea of load-outs for armor customization.
For an example, sometimes you want to have the look of a stealthy spartan, that camps about looking for someone to assassinate, maybe always looking for a sniper to get it’s hands on. OR sometimes you want to switch it up and play a heavy duty kind of spartan that rips off turrets and is just overall more aggressive.
Maybe three load-outs or so.

What is everyone else’s thoughts? Or another Ideas on expanding customization?

Seems like a nice addition but it feel unnecessary.
I mean, it would allow players to change look quickly without going to the customization menu but you can just quickly go to your customization menu and change how you look and it’ll be the same (it’s just not as quick as your idea).
Also I assume that most player either stick to the armor they like until they get the armor they want or change armor when new ones are added to the game so I don’t know if many people would use it. (In my case, I wouldn’t but what I do isn’t what others do)

Definitely a novel concept, but tbh I could take it or leave it so it depend on how much resources it would actually require to implement.

I would love this. I love having a bunch of different armour but it sucks you can only have one set and ignore the rest or go into customization settings and switch things around which is really annoying. Apex Legends added “random favourites” feature where you can go through your character or weapon skins and favourite up to 8 of them. Every match the game would randomly choose which of your favourites to equip. Such an awesome feature, I really hope Infinite will have something like this, I would definitely take advantage of it.

As someone who changes their look every once and a while but don’t like going through the the countless amount of armors, it would be nice to have like custom presets you can go to

So if i’m reading this right, you think you should be able to make an armor set and have it saved to change to at anytime? If that’s what your saying then i’m cool with it, not a huge thing but i like it. As long as there are no weapon loadouts then sure, why not.

i like this idea, you can make a style of armour, but you want to switch between another style, you can make a template of one of the armor combos you made. So when you want to switch to another combo, you dont have to equip each piece separately and color each one at a time

I feel like this would be a great idea! I feel like there are so many good armor styles, and instead of having to search through all the armor pieces. This would be a easy way of not having to constantly look through all the armor sets. Maybe even a favorites, so they show those favorites armor at the top or something? I feel like this would be a good idea, because sometimes I like to play stealthy one game and maybe the next game more sniper or something. I would definitely take advantage of this feature, the more spartan looks the better.

I mean if it is a 10 year plan why not add QoL features throughout time?

Honestly wish we had this in Reach. I like swapping out different armor sets for campaign and being able to save presets would be amazing.

Oh, that’d be nice. I’d like to make different armor combos, but don’t want to have to remember everything I chose for my main setup, y’know?

Well yeah it would be a nice QoL feature that they could add in the 10 year plan, I didn’t say otherwise.
But if they make it, they should limit the Presets to 10-20 max (while 117 or 343 max presets would be a funny choice, it would be too much) and make a better menu than Rocket League, like having a scrolling list of buttons with the name of the presets associated to it instead of arrows that go previous or next preset.
Or they could even make a list of slots that show the preset saved on that slot like a small preview card.

I think armor preset would be a better name for it, given the stigma “loadout” carries.

Or they could show your outfits somehow hanging up all together which would be amazing. That way they are on some kind of rotating circular wheel.

Thanks for all the input everyone! Really hope this idea takes off, I love my customization.

Update: Even more so to do this idea because of coatings!
More people will want to buy more coatings for all their presets or load-outs for their spartan.
I know I want it!:nerd_face::+1:
