I agree. I am not too fond of the new Elite look.
I think their legs/boots are way too big. Their arms are very skinny and scaly like a Jackal and they have the same ugly hunched over appearance that they sported in Halo 3.
It is kind of irrelevant, we can’t play as them anyway.

They look a lot like a frog-krogan cross as well. I hate the placement of the upper mandible, when they move their mouths the mandible will cover their eyes. Also what is making them so skinny and un-warriorly? They are elites not some stranded.
I haven’t seen the new Elites yet.
I’ve found nicer looking things in my bathroom. Why does it seem everything 343 did is terrible and poorly thought out? Did they ever look at these forums to see what people wanted?
Maybe it’s a tie-in with the new Spider-Man movie.

The texture on the skin, that’s called detail. Something 343 is focusing a lot more on than past games.

Actually, if you read the article it says that it is weird they don’t have armor because the Covenant you encounter seem to be not prepared for war. These kind of enemies are actually seen in Halo: First Strike. Context people. Context.

That’s cool, I’m just not liking their new stubby faces.
I dunno fellas, but whoever is designing these models needs to get replaced. I don’t understand why their feet are that massive and they seem shrinked in size.
I honestly prefer the hunchback Elites from Halo 2 and 3 and they look completely ridiculous, but badass at the same time. The Halo 4 Elites are a joke, I hope this isn’t the final design.

Actually they are stranded. That’s why some armor is missing.

I like it, accept how their feet look (kinda big imo) and how they have no arm armor. But thats only on those pictures so I cant really say much.
