Most of you play halo 4, even thought you don’t like it and don’t have fun, but yet you still do because its the newest Halo game, and then you make your opinions heard and try to reform it back to Halo 3 perfection. we know its got some major problems, but the game is not going to change that much, its easier to go back to halo3, Most of you don’t play it because its got a low population, but its risen, and it will continue to rise if we stop complying about 4 and just go back to halo3. don’t let the legend die.

Secondly, Halo 3 was far from “perfection”. From what I remember a large amount of people disliked it and basically did what you are doing, saying that Halo 2 was perfection. The only reason people “think” that the majority of the population hates Halo 4 was because they are probably the most vocal in the Official Halo forums.

Do u see most of the forum posts are about? There about halo 4 sucking ur first few sentences are truly false the majority hate this game.

Yes, the VOCAL minority. not the majority. ever wonder why whenever a poll comes up about halo 4 being good/bad, it always comes out positive?

Actually, from what I’ve seen as far as polls go, it’s the opposite…
In terms of halo 3 though, the gameplay itself was solid and no, that’s not nostalgia speaking, I just played it yesterday. That’s not to say it didn’t have its flaws though, bungie themselves admitted that the netcode could’ve been better (and they vastly improved it in reach) and the framerate barely managed to stay above 30fps.
Halo 4 is actually entirely capable of hosting halo 3 style gameplay; if there was a playlist with weapon spawns on the map, forced loadouts (with no DMRs) and disabled ordinance it would basically be the same (sans the fantastic maps and lack of sprint). I for one would actually enjoy such a playlist seeing as all that I really wanted from reach’s mp was halo 3 with better netcode and more maps.
Most my friends and I agree that Reach is the best. I never got into H3’s multi because I hate the controls and it looks really outdated. If H3 were to come back with Reach or H4 controls and upgraded graphics/sound, then I’d love to compare it to Reach. Reach and H4 alone, I certainly prefer reach. It’s slow, tacical gameplay yet so imminent carnage is very relaxing imo. Sniper DMR? Loadout shogun? Bad maps/playlists? Forerunner weapon clones? H4 is just lame! I can’t leave until I get that commando chestplate however. It beckons to me, like the final Security helm in Reach. That Reach armor actually pulled me from total newbie to really good player. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to get any better, and sometimes my aim is unsteady for some reason… Probably need to play moar.
Fire the guns of damaged ghosts in H4 and Reach, and behold the spectacle. Bungie put more effort and detail into Reach. It was the best gift they could’ve given while leaving Halo, even with it’s flaws.
Hm… an H3 remake WOULD be interesting. Halo 3: Anniversary Edition!
Don’t get me wrong I love Halo 3, but ill take H2 anyday which is what I’ve been doing as of late (xb connect).

Don’t pull the “opinion” crap, if you enjoy halo 4 and play it than this line dose not apply to you, Have you seen the forums? Have you seen all the halo 4 rage on you tube? Have you seen the extreme decline in Halo4 population? What more do you need?
People are mad about having custom load outs, AA, ordinance, etc. And the post it on forums saying they liked the old days better and want it to be the way it was, Hence halo 3,

Halo 4 sold about 7 million copies and the online population peaks at about 1% of that.
no one plays halo 3 anymore . somebody was all like yeah halo 2 has a huge underground player base. downloaded that stupid lan thing their was 5 people playing slayer lolololol. HALO 4 !!!FTW

Honestly, people have freaked out every time a halo game has come out. Yes, even for Halo 3. I remember back on the Bnet forums, people would cry their eyes out over BR spread adding “randomness” to the game. In Reach, they would complain about the “slow” gameplay (Which, let’s be honest, It wasn’t) and compare it to “mighty” Halo 2. Now, I played quite a bit of Halo 2, in customs and on Live. That game was not what people think it was. BXR, easy hacks, the BR being the ONLY useable weapon, weak shotty,and mediocre netcode really plagued it. Now people have moved on to 4, and compared it to the “venerable” Halo 3. A few of these people actually being the ones who whined at Bungie for years to change the BR spread. Every game has it’s “problems”, stop wishing the game was something that it isn’t.
So you’re asking us to play an awesome game(Halo 3), and asking us to abandon the path to a more awesome game(Halo 5 and 6). They made their mistakes, but I have faith in the future of Halo.

true every game had its problems, but none had such drastic changes as halo4, from halo 2 3 the BR didn’t change that much, from halo3 to halo4 the Br is a completely different weapon
I’ll admit I liked Reach but H3 was probably my favorite. I loved the addition of AA and loadouts but lately after playing 3 for a while again I prefer the equipment over AA. Although people always complain about the newest installment being worse then the previous one and it is normally not true. Halo 4 has a lot of things lacking in it that makes it inferior to the others. Custom Games (for a lack of a better word) was butchered and forge is really limited map wise (compared to forge world). Also I can’t be the only one that is a little bit disappointed with the maps, not just in 4 but also in Reach. They lack the diversity that 3 had, and there doesn’t seem to be that many large base maps. That being said Reach and 4 aren’t bad games they just don’t seem to live up to 3, in my opinion at least.
