Living Dead not fun anymore?

I’m an experienced Living Dead player, and I enjoy a majority of games; like 40% of games I enjoy, however, the other games have so many problems. Here are a few:

  • Each map has some sort of stupid, insane camping spot which basically determine kills. And its always the good players that pull these off. The rock spot on Asylum really pisses me off. - All my personal favorite maps (and most probably yours as well) have been removed and replaced with some crappy remake or some completely different map. Take Sword Base for example. Spooky Base is good but isn’t the real deal. And Paradisio is gone too. Unbelievable - The community has gone terrible. And before your say “Play another Halo then” , Reach is my favorite Halo to date (MCC doesn’t count as it’s technically 5 games) and has better gametypes then say Halo 5. But the hate everyone shares: Teabagin’ , shooting dead corpses to anger the opponent, camping as mentioned before. So many problems. Just what happened to the community on 360. I play Reach just mainly for the Living Dead, so I understand where you’re coming from. All these things, plus the horrible lag can get pretty bad. But I still really enjoy those few games where I get a killionaire, or a really good round. Oh, also Zombie Ghosts and Infection constantly showing up to vote is annoying. But 343i isn’t going to change anything about Halo Reach, so we either put up with it or play a different game.

It’s hard to recreate perfection. But yes, Halo Reach Infection was by far the best Infection ever.

Sword base was a really bad map for infection, especially the camp spot at the top only accessible via grav lift. Sucks to hear that a lot of the current maps probably won’t get cycled out.

Living dead is usually a lot of fun.

Although it has it’s flaws, for example the zombie selection, which can be very unfair, and the familiar ‘connecting to new host’ when people quit.

I hate the rock spot in Asylum too…

Camping in Reach wasn’t even half as bad as it was in Halo 2 Zombies. Maps like Foundation, District, and Backwash were notoriously easy to camp in since everyone had Battle Rifles and the zombies had to walk in a straight line to get to you.

Except for Asylum, those 3 spots are annouing

It’s been like that forever.
