What do you guys think about live weapon skins. I say live because they have a shifting form and not some decorative paint scheme.
Now, in my honest opinion i think this would be a little to much for Halo, cool but to much. To see people running around with Flaming BRs and Lightning bolts zipping off, may be wierd.
Im creating this thread to see what you guys in the community think. Good or bad idea?
If you like it, post why you like it and give an idea of what kind of live weapon effect you would like to see.
If you dont like it, post why you dont. Are like me and think it would be cool but a little to much or do you have a different reason?
I think something like a water cammo that flows would be nice like the refracted light in a pool or grass that sways would be good. I agree with your thoughts n fie d lightning though also I think maybe something that doesn’t leave the surface of the armor is acceptable.

Come to think about it. I see this as the perfect counter to Promeathean Vision. Lets keep that on the down low. Wouldnt want everyone to know…shhhsh.
I think that animated weapon skins would be awesome. I love how in Reach you had different armor effects, I just wish there was more than only four of them. Personally I would love to have a flaming BR or an electric Carbine. Lol possibly a pestilent AR with the stink cloud and flies around it.

Gears of halo or what. Animated skins are alright but I mean come on. That’s just straight up copying another games idea. And the only skins I rock is flaming…imo the best one

True, so that would also mean you could careless about the way you can change your Spartan. No matter what you do asthectically, your Spartan will still act the same, sound the same, move the same, shoot the same, and die the same.
Case and point, Halo shouldnt have any customization options because its not going to really make a differnce.
If you ask me, that’d be pretty cool. And honestly, it wouldn’t be that crazy. Reach had Armor Effects, no? Live weapon skins is definitely more subtle than that. So I say bring it on! (Name of song in video?)
