Does anyone else miss the live action trailers of halo 3, odst, and Reach? Those left such an impact and I remember everyone was talking about them and how unique they were. Who else really wants Halo Infinite to have a live action trailer before launch?

I would love to see the upcoming Halo Infinite getting a live action trailer. It’s been a very long time since the Halo video games getting the live action trailers.
A live action trailer could really set the tone for Infinite, especially with the knowledge we have been given for the story in regards to the potentially severe causality numbers for humanity.
That would be crazy haha.

I can distinctly remember at least 3 different live action trailers for halo 5 that seem to be amiss in this conversation lol.
They may not have been indicative of the final product of the game, but pre-launch they were just as enchanting as the other live action trailers.
They still hold a sort of charm and merit.

I remember the halo 5 trailers, but they just weren’t as special to me or anyone I knew. The were cool at the time, but after the game released they left a bad taste, which is why they can’t hold a candle to the emotional roller coaster of the Bungie era commercials.

Regardless of how the game turned out, the marketing and trailers for Halo 5 got me so hyped for the game and were pretty well made. Where I couldn’t say they were better than some of the other live action trailers like Halo 3’s or ODST, they definitely were up there.
They did 1 with Halo 5 the “hunt the truth” “find the truth” were mocap live action reanimated and CGI edited scenes. Obviously not as adventurous as the previous but none the less live action.
I can see them still doing it since its Xbox flagship game, but prob not closer to launch. Even if we dont get it we atleast have the tv show coming in the future.
The live action Locke & Chief trailers were great and so was Deliver Hope from Reach. But the ODST one will always be emotional and the greatest to me
Yes, I love all the live action trailer and hope they return for Infinite.
Deliver hope is up there as one of the best game trailers.
Halo 5 actually had really good ads too, so I’d say we can expect one or two for Infinite.
Halo 5’s promotional material was amazing. They only feel shallow now because the game pretty much stomped all over all they hinted at.

Agreed, which is a real shame since I was really hyped for a showdown between Blue Team and Osiris
Im sure once they put the release date together we’ll get some.
