Apparently the trailer is going to air during the walking dead, I believe. So, what do you guys think about it? It is going to have real actors in it, not game play.
We sure are getting a lot of early news. Halo 5 has to have a September release.

I think they build up a lot of hype. A remember a lot of my cod fan boy friends taking a lot of interest in Halo 4’s live action trailer. Hell, they liked the reach trailer too. I think live action trailers are great. Even the advanced warfare live trailer got plenty of attention (even though I’m not a big cod fan).
You know I am, especially knowing how awesome Halo trailers can be.

Not sure how to feel about it. It’s going to show a whole lot of non-canon story events that are more symbolic to the actual story than accurate to the events (which some of the community will take as being literal spoilers). After seeing 343i’s track record with live action though I guess I’m pretty excited. Expecting an awesome soundtrack with a voiceover and some interesting points for speculation.
I feel like an absolute killjoy for saying this, but I’m slightly less hyped now I know it’s live-action. Was hoping for a glimpse of sweet campaign gameplay.

Life action trailers show as much story as teasers do, which isn’t much. They also don’t show gameplay, or anything resembling the game. They are promotion pieces, nothing more.
If they wanted to show useful information they would show something that belongs to the game, gameplay or cut-scene.
I’m very excited. I love Halo.
And live action trailers are the best!
Can’t wait. Hope it shows a release date.

I’d expect that during E3. Think that’s what they’re saving all the big stuff for.

No the countdown timer on Xbox.com is for some dumb reason set to time zones, so many people have been hitting 0:00 only for nothing to come up, because it’s technically not the right time.
live action trailers are cool, but theyre designed as marketing tools. us being the hardcore halo fans, we benefit more from something akin to a vidoc since we dont really need persuading to buy h5
