Halo 4 was boreing. I’ll get that out of the door immedialty, but I played last night on a purely exploratory basis and I found some intresting things,
For one, the glitches in this game are almost on par with Halo 2, I found myslef exploring far and wide out of easily escapible maps and it suprises me what 343 borrowed from Reach,
For instance, When you activate the mac guns in Composer, did you know that they are exactly the same as in reach? Sure the model is touched up, but you can actully go out to them via a glicth and Masterchief sits int he exact spot with the exact pose as Nobel 6 did, even if his chair is invisible.
Granted you can see the level start to fall apart (and this happens even in mission, walk though the Requiem tunnels and look around) but it’s still fun to explore outside of levels.
My only complaint is that you always seem to need a banshee, unlike halo 2 the area outside of missions is almost never solid, which suprises me becuase of the detail they put into some of it, and did you know that it’s possible to get out of Multiplayer maps very easily? Granted these have stupid amounts of kill barriers and timers but there are ways past them.
So who else misses Halo 2 and it’s humerous glitches and boundless Out Of Map exploration? I am kind of sad 343 hems us in so much, but I suppose it’s bungies fault for inventing that damnable 10 second barrier
