Little ideas that may not have been suggested

The ability to add a lengthy description and time to read it to a custom game load screen or in lobby to explain how a map or game type is to be played. Some forged games can be complicated at first and players may miss certain features. A chance to supply players with knowlage on the aim of the game or even just some tips would be benificial at times and stop things getting messy. An advanced version of this would also allow screen shots to be added beside the appropriate paragraphs/sentences in the description page.

The ability to have veto options in a custom game lobby. The party leader could select 3 games and let the players vote. Keeps everyone happy.

Allow the party leader to end round in the pause menu.

Forgot to suggest a way for party leader to force even teams too.

Don’t bump threads please.

There is no voting on Halo 5. They said they took that away. So, putting it into a custom game lobby just seems like a complete waste of time from the devs side.

That being said, the ‘lengthy description’ thing is also not a good idea. If you are joining in on a custom game, the creator, or people that have played it should easily be able to tell you what it is, and how to play. The other game types have literally 5-10 words, IF that to tell you what to do. You don’t need any more, which means your ‘description’ on the download section will be more than enough.

No veto in Halo 5, fair enough I understand.

But I disagree with the discription. In Halo 4 the description and map screenshot are showen on screen and that was great, I used it to give a quick tip. It wasn’t shown long enough though.

Yes party leader can give an explanation… But over the screams of children and deaf ears of those in private party it can be hard. Leader may forget in the moment or is not himself the creator, having a thought out description/guide/tips page as an option would be utilised by many I’m sure.

Im trusting Halo 5 will improve on the forge enviroments and custom game options. This is a little detail that won’t be hard to implement last minute. A load screen or press Y to see description. Get the party on the same page, give any information you want. Not a bad thing, I concur
