I just hate when the ordnance shows a rocket/sniper/saw/etc then I go to grab it and it’s a BR/DMR/etc. I don’t know if it happens in Infinity BTB but it sure happens in Dominion a good bit. They also disappear pretty quickly. I love Dominion to death but it’s hard to play when I’m getting trolled by the game constantly.
That happens to me, but the weapons in this case are Spartan Lasers littering the entire map. I’m thinking that I can finally stop the rampaging Mantis, then I go to the ordnance drop to pick up a Needler instead…
To me it feels like something that became broke after launch. I didn’t notice it happening in the first couple weeks then all of a sudden it seemed like every single game of Dominion has it happening at least once.
When you say they disappear pretty quickly are you talking about dropping them once you die or the unused ordinance drops seem to disappear quickly? If you don’t get the resupply ordinance within 35 seconds of that base’s resupply the unused drops disappear (with 10 seconds left on the resupply counter) and then the new ones drop. As for the incorrect weapon display, yeah it happens a lot and you just have to visually confirm each weapon before getting too excited.
