I am a huge fan of halo, but I am dumbfounded by the way 343i doesn’t give a ****. They need to learn how to take criticism, that is how companies make their games better. If you don’t listen to your community, you are not going to have a successful game.

Someone who write “I am a huge fan of halo, but I am dumbfounded by the way 343i doesn’t give a ****.”
wanna tell 343i that they cant take criticism ?
Dude, learn HOW to critic first. Learn how to critic in a respectful way.
If they gave a horses behind they would make a sticky thread and write something like
We can see that alot of people have qustions/oppinions about the BS/DMR/maps/specialisations/insert broken stuff here We will look into it and see if an adjustment is needed or not, we will get back to you, the players/customers as soon as humanly possible. Love 343
But i cant find anything that suggests that they care!

What 343i needs to do is map out, in plain english what there plans are for this game. Make a thread and outline every detail they plan in the coming months or years ahead and continue to update it as things are rolling out. Not just in a weekly bulletin. You know as well as I do, that they have every detail planned down to the tiniest detail of what they are going to do. Otherwise its bad business to make crap up as you go. Inform the community and continue to inform. The lack of communication or communication is given only once enough people complain shouldnt be the status quo.

This hate mail is going to be received if like said in the thread, they do reply or listen to us.
This post was not meant to offend anybody. I would just like to see some good changes happen to my favorite game series…
Its kinda hard to be respectful about criticism…
Look where respectful criticism has gotten us so far, has it worked…at all?
Truth is 343i probably doesn’t care, they released a game, everyone bought it, and 343i made tons of money.

I feel the need to re-post my own posts from other threads.
As shown above…they are still way ahead of schedule to fix/tweak things. After TU 1, all criticism will be warranted if none of the issues are addressed.

Self entitled nonsense and arrogance
you pay for their game, you play their game, it is their game.
You can give feedback without being aggressive or insulting, but what you are doing is coming across as a petulant child demanding he gets what he wants
Who are you to tell what 343i people think and what not? Good critic is constructive critic. Thats what all the moderators would tell you. It also mean you can critic without being rude or offensive. To critic mean to bring up facts not emotions.
Stop being defensive. Yes, what I said was harsh, but we should try to come up with ways of making Halo 4 better. Not a lot of people are happy with the way Halo 4 turned out. I like halo 4, i play it a lot. Could it be better? YES! That is the point I am trying to construct in people’s minds. Now instead of having pointless arguments on the internet, lets come together as a community and come up with ways to make Halo 4 a better game.

Thanks for putting this up. I have issues with this game but unlike most people registering complaints, I also have patience. The “FIX THIS NOW OR IMA BLABIDY BLIBIDY BLOOBIDY!” trend is waring more than a little thin.
The reason why they’re not telling anyone anything beyond “expect a patch in January” is because if they DID release a set of patch notes now, the forum would change from raging about “why there isn’t a patch yet/343i doesn’t listen” to raging about “they didn’t fix exactly what I wanted/343i doesn’t listen”.
It is unnecessary and just causes more problems. They’re going to release a patch and a set of patch notes after its released. Be patient. They are listening.

the problem is, when people like you feel arrogant enough to think that you speak for the whole community with your aggressive attacking style of posting, 343i tend to not listen when genuine feedback is given by those in the right way
learn the lesson, be polite get a response, do what you do and get educated
