Noted. Oh but what about the children? Anyways on the topic…343 has truly diversified the fiction unlike Bungie ever did. It has been revealed later that Bungie nearly hated the fiction outside of the came. We’re lucky we even got The Fall of Reach. If Bungie had had their way one of the greatest pieces of Halo fiction would never had even existed and many other books that followed it may have had never been made either.

Not to mention the countless Fanfiction stories that have been created and inspired by the universe many of us have come to love.

I remembered hearing that Bungie strongly detested the Fall of Reach novel, too, and that Microsoft is the reason we got not only the Fall of Reach novel, but also the subtle characterization the Master Chief got in Halo: CE. Apparently Bungie was rather aggressive toward Microsoft employees.

Oh yeah, I remember that! Wasn’t it also that they weren’t sure players would notice or care about the visual differences? Kinda funny to see how they changed their minds and went as far as to make a game about them, too. I have to admit, Microsoft’s done at least a bit of good for Halo.
