> Here are my ideas for halo 5
>
> - Return of classic fan favorite maps such as Pit, Blood Gulch, and Gaurdian.
> NO. Here’s a little rule of thumb for any map subjected to be remade: Is the original playable on Xbox LIVE at this point in time Halo 3-4?
> Is there already a remake of said map?
> Is there a map that is a nod to it?
>
> If any of those are YES, then that map should not be remade. Blood Gulch has been remade in just about every Halo game, even Halo Wars.
> My Suggestion is look at some maps in Halo CE, PC, and Halo 2 PC, maps that haven’t been remade, or maps that are only on the PC that you Xbox gamers have never ever played on.

> - Ranked and Social playlists
> They shouldn’t be playlists, they should be sections of Match making.
>
> - Being able to also play as an Elite or Forerunner
> Elite yes, forerunner, no, Forerunners are much larger than both humans and elites. Elites are larger than spartans, but not by much, and the MP models are hunched.
>
> - Return of the Head to Head playlist from Halo 3.(The 1v1 playlist to proove individual skill against another player)
> This I will agree on, I wouldn’t mind if it was ranked.
>
> - Visible ranking system
> A in game Ego rank is not needed, but if it’ll shut up the community so they’ll stop saying it’s a make or break feature, then yes, please put an ego meter number next to everyone’s name, as long as it’s based on playlist and/or gametype, so level 50s in slayer don’t get matched with level 50s of CTF, and then -Yoink- when they get their -Yoinks!- handed to them.

> - Return of Duel Weilding
> If they can balance Dual Wielding, yes, if not, Spartan Ops and Campaign Only, maybe Custom games, but not in matchmaking, and there should be a option in the gametype settings that can disable dual wielding, for true classic gametypes (Dual wielding is not classic Halo gameplay). Also, if they make pistols dual wield, they need to make it so when wielding a single pistol you can zoom in, dual wielding them you can’t.

> - Forge enviroments like Snow, Rain, and Sand.
> If you’re saying more forge based maps like forge island and forge world, yes, if you mean settings wise, only if the engine can handle it.
>
> - A lava map. So if you fall in you burn!
> This I agree with, but only if the engine and the hardware can handle it.
>
> - Reduce the Bullet Magnetism.
> This should be adjusted yes.
>
> - Return of the original Halo 3 Infection.
> This should be either a gametype setting in of itself, or it’s own gametype.
>
> -Classic Halo Theme option (For Halo veterans)
> Would you care to explain this more? Are you talking HUD, UI, Weapons, Armor, or even gametypes?
>
> - Return of Veto system (To make the game less repetitive)
> I say do away with both, and just force people to play whatever map or gametype that is set, or have the option to only pick the gametype.
>
> - No more loadouts. Instead make it the set game loadouts like in previous Halo games.
> This I strongly disagree with, load outs are a good thing. But they need to be limited based on game mode, gametype. Certain gametypes should be allowed certain weapons and AAs, some should allow all, and others should be forced set loadouts. Now, Load outs are wonderful for Spartan Ops, and it’d be great for FireFight. And for those gametypes, they’re wonderful, and for that should stay.
>
> - Armor abilities eliminated in certain playlists (I understand if people would like some to use in customs or in Action sack)
> the same as for load outs.
>
> - No more Sprint.
> I disagree with this, sprint is a form of movement, if you say no more sprint, I say no more jumping. Don’t like the idea of your target running away? Too bad, you should learn to be a better aim, and kill him before he runs, or chase him down. But I also think sprint should also have the option to limit it in the gametype settings.
>
> - Make an Elimination game type like in Halo 3 but put into matchmaking
> Halo CE had the gametype, it was fun for end of Server cycles
>
> - No more Perks.
> I disagree here, the current perks Halo 4 has aren’t that bad, and don’t take away from gameplay. But then again, you have your opinion of them.
>
> - The return of finding skulls in campaign.
> I both agree and disagree with this.

> No comment on this.

> - Need to win to Earn EXP. (To make the game more competitive)
> I disagree with this. Partly because I strongly believe that Competitive gaming isn’t the universal play style that everyone makes it out to be. There should be two Ranking systems. For the ranked playlist/sections for competitive players there should be something like the 1-50 ranking system that’s based off of skill, and is limited to playlists and/or gametype. And there should be a Progressive ranking system that is XP based, which you earn XP by playing the game, that is to include winning and losing. In slayer based gametypes, you should get more XP for getting kills, if you win, you get double the amount of total points earn off of kills (Not medals), if it’s an objective gametype like CTF, you get more points based off of killing the flag holder, protecting the flag holder, helping the flag holder, being the flag holder, scoring, and returning the flag, but you should get some points for killing, but not much. Yes there should be a ranking system that rewards players for winning, but it shouldn’t be the only ranking system, not everyone is the best player, and some don’t care for the competitive style of gaming, and only care about having fun, which means giving them a means of reward for playing the game, not just for winning.
My comments.
