HI! PAX is here, with a whole new build, new maps, new weapons, new AAs(with 2 returning), and most importantly, a bigger list of Tactical and Support packages used in your loadouts.
Thanks to this video, we got a bigger list, with a description of what they do, and finally answering where the armor mods fit in the list.
Without further ado, here’s what we got so far:
TACTICAL PACKAGE
Mobility: Infinite Sprint
Shielding: Faster Shield regen after avoiding damage.
Resupply: Allows you to pick up grenades from enemy and friendly players.
AA Efficiency: Faster AA regeneration
Grenadier: Allows you to carry more grenades
Firepower: Allows you to start with 2 primaries, instead of Primary/Sidearm.
Fast Track(Pioneer Spec. reward): Gain more exp from combat when equipped.
Requisition(Tracker Spec. Reward): Allows you to get more options for the Ordinance Drop.
Wheelman(Operator Spec. Reward): Faster vehicle regen, and smaller disabled time when equipped.
SUPPORT PACKAGES
Stability(Rogue Spec. Reward): Stay in Scope, even when shot.
Ammo: Carry more Ammo in your pocket.
Dexterity: Faster Reload and Weapon Swapping
Sensor: Larger Motion Sensor(Radar) range.
Awareness: Motion Sensor(Radar) is seen in scopes.
Explosives: Increases blast radius of grenades. Decreases damage taken*
Ordinance Priority: Lowers point requirement to gain Ordinance.
Gunner(Pathfinder Spec. Reward): Increases time needed for turrets to overheat. Allows faster movement when carrying a turret.
That’s it. I am not sure where Stealth, Drop Recon, and Nemesis fits currently. They are either not in the build, or the guy in the video didn’t scroll all the way down for both of them. If any of you are fortunate enough to play Halo 4 there, and can add clarity, please do so. I’ll update it.
What do you think from the list you want to put for your loadouts? Personally, I like how they are keeping us from having our cake and eating it, while allowing us good choices. Explosives seems iffy, and a tad more on the “mandatory” side as it is just a straight up buff for grenades, a damage resistance against them, and no real side downside against it. Unless I’m reading it wrong, this might get chosen often not because we want to, but we have to. I feel it goes against the list. If you guys out there can find out what the other part meant, please let me know.
Other than that, I think I’ll have fun with this list. Pretty good selection.
