A number of these I started years ago, and with some, like “Requiem for Mombasa,” you will see the shift in writing quality as the chapters go by lol. You’ll also learn, if you subscribe, that I can be a very slow writer just like all others. Most of these are ongoing.
Requiem for Mombasa:
Set in October, 2552, Requiem for Mombasa follows the accounts of the men and women of the UNSC Judgment, a frigate with a fresh batch of ODSTs out of training still melding into her ranks, only to return home to a field of debris and a surface tread upon by hundreds of Covenant invaders. Private Ethan Wilks, a fresh graduate from Orbital Qualification Training, will have to learn quick what it means to dive feet first into hell to survive what has become of New Mombasa.
Don’t ask…this started as a joke between a buddy of mine when we were texting and somehow…yeah…
As Reach burns, the UNSC forces are scrambling to evacuate to their best efforts. With New Alexandria all but empty, forces deem is necessary to begin pulling out of the city. Gunnery Sergeant Edward Buck has other plans.
“What little information I have been able to glean from around all of the redaction gives the impression that S-312 is more akin to a hyper-lethal vector than a soldier. A lone-wolf assassin that has broken organizations and made entire militia groups disappear…”
Killjoy: The Ghost Soldier:
Name says all…mostly.
Rate of Fire:
Readers of Mombasa will recognize a name in this one. This is a one-shot inspired by a Roleplaying experience I once had. Picking up the theme shouldn’t be too difficult. I haven’t placed this one on FFnet yet, because I’m not satisfied with its ending. Stay tuned for an update on this one.
