I have decided to make a database thread for all the sightings of the Didact’s symbol in videos and other media
I am pretty sure I am the first to find this one, Look on the floor where Master Cheif is standing

I need to finish Cryptum…

Here’s a quick run down. Bornstellar, the NEW Didact, is not evil. Not unless he somehow made contact with the Primordial, in which case go read the books before Nov 6th.
And I’m sorry, but that cannot be the Didact’s symbol. The blue symbol is the Didact’s. The red one has to belong to someone we know is evil, like The Master Builder or the Primordial. Or hell, even a fragment of Mendicant Bias.
> I need to finish Cryptum…
same here.
The symbol in the last picture isn’t the Didact’s. It’s missing the part below the center. Also in the shot that OP found, we can’t be sure it’s the Didacts or not, unless I’m looking at the wrong thing.
I don’t know where they’re going with the Didact thing. I doubt Didact(Bornstellar) would go evil, or even immediately attack the humans. He had a great time with Riser and Chakas.
Maybe Didact(original) would be, but we really don’t know. We know he had no problem doing it during the war, but we have a few different characters attesting to his temperment to humans being harmful to humans. I don’t know though. My money is on Faber, or a corrupted Composer A.I.
Also, I have a tattoo of the librarian symbol. Booyah.

You also forgot the real Didact symbol in the CEA Terminal. click

The Primordial was a gravemind, that that Gravemind is dead. The Master Builder died on what is now Installation 07. Medicant Bias is also dead, gone with the Ark.
Yes, the two symbols have their differences, but they are very similar, and there is strong evidence to support the Didact as being the enemy.
- The large ball is a Cryptum, a device created by the Prometheans. The primary enemies also bear the name “Promethean”.
- Frankie told a user who had the Didact’s symbol as his avatar to rotate it to its “unbound” state.
- Greg Bear, upon being asked about how the Didact from the Forerunner trilogy and the one from the Halo 3 terminals might be connected, said that, as it stands, there are 2 Didacts.
Again, strong evidence.
We aren’t sure it’s even the Didact after all. Most likely it’s one of the Didact’s or a forerunner asociated with the Didact filling in for him for some reason. Maybe it’s the master builder. We can’t be 100% sure until the game comes out.
PS @SkaterBruski it’s wavybilly’s cousin. I seem to run into you randomly while doing halo based activities. Just wanted to point that out lol.

Wah …? I thought the Master Builder was never confirmed dead.

I don’t think he was confirmed dead, just assumed. Plus there’s one more book.
I’ll lend a hand. Look at the orange text. It says d!D@cT.

While he was never confirmed dead, there is strong evidence for it.
