Mine is Headhunter from Halo Reach, but taken to an entirely new level! All of the standard rules from the Halo Reach gametype apply, collect skulls from dead bodies and deposit them at zones to score. However, I want Halo Infinite with its massively elite Forge to have Headhunter on a FAR grander scale. Meaning that you can get medals tied to skulls, and unlocking these medals would not only get you a Jeff Stizer shoutout, but upgraded loadouts for both FFA and team variants of Headhunter! For example:
Skull Spree: Deposit 5 or more skulls in a zone, or deposit skulls after getting a killing spree. Unlocks an instant spawn Striker Sidekick and Longshot AR for the player if you deposit the skull after getting a killing spree, but not before.
Skull Frenzy: Deposit 5 or more skulls after a killing frenzy or deposit 10 or more skulls. Players in Infinite’s headhunter will naturally be able to carry an Infinite amount of skulls collected from KIA opponents, and when you die it doesn’t matter how many skulls you collect, all the skulls are up for grabs! Skull Frenzy if the player gets a killing frenzy gives them a damage boost of 50% until killed and the Arcane Sentinel Beam with a Riven Mangler.
Skulltastrophe: Deposit 50 or more skulls. Invulnerable for 30 seconds granted if the player deposits the 50 skulls after getting a running riot and player gets the tracking Rocket Launcher and a S7 Flexfire!
Skullpocalypse: 100 or more skulls deposited without the player dying! If any player can collect and deposit 100 skulls without getting killed beforehand and gets an untouchable, they spawn with AI bots all with Arcane Sentinel Beams on their team that will respawn with them until the enemy kills them all!
Skullionaire: The toughest medal of all! 200 skulls deposited to a zone without dying! In case you weren’t sure, this gametype will need a much higher total skull count for teams to win, say 500 to even 1,000 (obviously players can change these numbers in Forge)! Getting a Skullionaire nabs you a Grappleshot with infinite range and ammunition! Not only this, but the player can switch to a Repulsor with infinite ammo as well.
Finally this mode has two variants. Headhunter and Headhunter Pro. Headhunter Pro has one important difference from Headhunter. If you unlock upgraded loadouts, you stay with the upgrades for the ENTIRE GAME!!! So if a player gets a Skull Spree & a Skull Frenzy in Headhunter Pro, they will forever spawn the rest of the game with the improved loadouts and options no matter how many times they die. In regular Headhunter, if you die, your loadouts reset every death.
