Random disconnections all the time.
There are a lot of problems in my opinion. These problems only concern multiplayer since I dont play campaign. I was a huge fan of halo 4 multiplayer and everything has changed. I’m not opposed to changes, but most of these changes made the game much worse.
REQ system
I hate it. I liked the simplicity of earning different weapons and armor. Now I have to get lucky and hope for a REQ card which is going to take years it seems like.
Slayer AR
Why am I now forced to use an AR and a pistol? This is the dumbest thing ive ever heard of. I hate the AR, always have. Why can’t I have the option of starting with a DMR or BR?
Aiming
Do I even need to go into detail? It sucks. Go back to what it was in halo 4.
No Team Doubles?
Why are we missing core multiplayer modes on every launch? Get team doubles back asap. I would also like to see a 1v1 mode.
Radar
This has been noted several times in this thread. The radar needs to be improved. I can only see the enemy when they are very close. It is useless right now.
Honestly, if these aren’t fixed I have no interest in playing this game. These issues are ruining the game and making it far less fun.
Can’t find a suitable server for your fireream. This is a game breaking message. I have been getting this since the launch of the game. This seriously needs to be fixed. reinstalling the game is just a temporary fix. The message just reappears after you quit the game. I have checked everything to do with my network and nat type is open and I have no problems playing other games online. The game development team needs to look into fixing this.
Lack of any sort of dedicated Coop gamemode (e.g. Firefight). That’s a pretty big problem imo. Campaign is ok the first two or three times you play it then it sort of becomes stale. I would love to see firefight make a return in a future update perhaps.
The guns are getting boring and the armour is not amazing as I thought it would be.

My issues:
- Ground Pound is kinda weak IMO. I’ve had several times where I have two people standing below and I ground pound and the animation splits them and neither one of them dies? Both should be toast.
- Bans - this is a great idea but it backfires when teammates do crazy things like run into Promethean grenade after you just said don’t run in there. But they do it anyway then they get an option to ban you if they keep being dumb. This is silly.
- Breakout, CTF, Strongholds have no playlists of their own - why not?
- Armor is merely aesthetic, no perks, leaves an empty feeling to getting it. No need to go overboard but IMO the armor needs perks. LIke one perk could be reduces damage of Promethean grenade but then it reduces the amount of ammo you can carry in your guns or something that makes you weaker in another area.
- With all the power weapons in the game only a select few show up in arena modes. Where is the River of Light/Inceneration Canon; Rocket Pod Turret; SAW; Spartan Laser; Chain Gun Turret? Why are these not power weapons that spawn on Arena maps?
- Warzone will get stale if the Warden is always the last boss. This needs variation IMO.

Spawn points… For me spawn points in halo 5 are terrible, when you die most likely you will spawn near the person that killed you, or where you died.
- Large Deadzones - AR start
DMR’s are too rare. Also, gold packs should be cheaper or come with 3 perminant unlocked instead of 2. I don’t like having to grind up to one just to get 2 crap armour.
Cut scene locks up and then I cannot move forward in the game. Stuck in chapter 2. Reloaded three times. No issues with any other game. SSD external holds all active games. Really disappointed about this and had only repeat end of mission two over and over. 1st complete reload got me to Halsey coming to speak to the Captain and then load bug in that sequence, over and over now.
ATTENTION!!! MY #1 Problem is i took my kids to DisneyLand and my Xbox is back in Jersey, that’s my 1 and only problem I have with Halo 5!

Terrible story, bad graphics, bad art direction, bad enemies, bad characters, stupid unwanted Spartan abilities, bad AI, terrible customisation in multiplayer, bad aiming system, iron sights in halo! Terrible new fan boy community due to youngsters weined on Halo 4, a total lack of Halo feel or characteristics, micro transactions! Spartan IV’S, in fact everything about the game. Imagine Dr Cox ranting at JD in scrubs but it’s Halo he’s ranting about. Halo is dead, Halo 5 is its death throws.
Customization and req packs other than that it’s a really solid game.

Disappointed.
1 - Warden Eternal, repetitive choice for this character seems to have left a last minute idea box, someone left this part for last so after a storm of stupid ideas a stupid any decided that this was the solution to bridge the gap . And the stupid said “We repeat the Warden 5x Eternal” and how is not enough, let’s close the game with his presence again. The game became boring, annoying repetitive with this opponent.
2 - Whose idea was it to by Cortana against humans? It will be ridiculous if you evoke the Mendicant Bias or Flood to justify the support of cortana human again.
3 - Cade chief? Where you stuck the Chief? Not evoke the Halo Reach to explain that Halo survive without the Chief because that work was exceptional to explain the gaps, with a colossal story to be explored, you decided to opt for a story where the Chief is not the protagonist, Chief was turned into a mere representative of his own existence, and not the face itself.
4 Again, where is the Chief?
5 - Please kill the Spartan Lock character in some comic book launched between any before the release of Halo 6, or cause him to die in some Roard Star, send it to look for a Criptum any forgotten. Nothing against the actor, all against Spartan Lock.
6 - I have to say, the musical work is flawless, perfect.
7 - Graphics great, but again I do not want Graphics want a solid history with the Master Chief.
Summary: Disappointed.

There’s two big things I think are wrong with this game. ONE is the respawning in multiplayer. I have a number of recorded clips where I will die and upon respawn see my dead body fall and then the guy who killed me gets a free kill again, at least in SWAT. TWO is you hardly get to play as Master Chief and unless I’m missing something that was the entire point of playing Halo campaign is to be Master Chief. You could’ve stuck with what was in Halo 4 and done Spartan Ops if you wanted to involve more Spartan Locke. Also the trailers for this game were very misleading making it seem like at the end you would have a choice; pick either Locke or the Spartan 117.
