Why are we not allowed to put links in posts or send private messages even at Trust Level 3? Is this something that’s disabled for the moment or something?

could be that they want to restrict it heavily as links can lead to malicious sites and same with private messages. Corporate America and the government is trying to play catch up in cyber security since very high profile breaches have happened these last 10 years.
that or they have some weird reason that can only be understood if you were at their meeting when they discussed the trust levels.
Yeah, it just seems weird that I’ve read a post by one of the monitors saying to PM them if we had questions, but you can’t do that. Maybe we have to be TL4 for that or something, which doesn’t seem like a hard thing to accomplish considering you only have to be active on the a little over 3-months and contribute to various posts. Links, on the other hand, I can understand.
