I clicked on the message I received in the halo waypoint messaging section. I cannot access the flight. I received the XBOX version, but i’m on the PC. I tried installing the hub app. No progress. When I click install instructions, I receive a error link that says I am not an insider. I’ve been an insider since 2016. What’s the issue? Am I doing something wrong?

Go to your profile in the top right and go to halo insider down at the bottom what device does it say next to July tech preview? For me i got a message saying to download from xbox insider hub on the microsoft store on windows but I had an xbox invite and was able to download on the xbox insider hub on the xbox one.
