Linda-058 in Halo 4?

Linda got a offer for candidacy for the Spartan IV Program and Spartan IV are appearing in Halo 4! do you think its possible that Master chief will finally get to see a old friend?

Probably not. We don’t know Blue Teams, which includes the S-IIIs from Ghosts of Onyx, decisions or what ONI would have them do. They could die in Thursday War or the last Kilo-Five book as well.

UPDATE! Linda’s Bio scans Appeared in Halo CEA!

Fairly common knowledge friend, it’s irrelevant to your question though.

Unfortunately, Cobra is true about this. But in retrospect, Frankie said the Thursday War would give away natural hints about the circumstances regarding many different things, but would also be natural spoilers for Halo 4. So its technically possible, its just unlikely.

I think it’s possible, but not in a 100% kind of way. More of a ‘you might see her in the back of one of the scenes… possibly’ kind of way.

Everybody hates everybody…again.

I imagine something like Name call and Linda says her name and Chief Pause’s for a sec and than continues to get names but thats probably unlikily

Fairly pointless inclusion to be honest…and cliche.

Good to know I’m not the only one calling that…

Yeah because after 28 years of constant genocide everyone just says “Oops, our bad” and everything is then perfectly OK. Some are willing to make the effort to try and get along, (Hood, Arbiter) but obviously there is going to be some hatred there for a little while. It’s not sunshine and rainbows after so much hatred lasted for so long.

And I don’t think it should be, but there shouldn’t be near instantaneous hatred and more conflict a month or two after said war.

But there is no conflict. Some Elites want the conflict to continue but no new conflict ever actually starts in the book. True we’re fighting Covenant forces in Halo 4 but based on the fact there are going to be Sangheili Civil conflicts it would be relatively safe to believe this “Storm Covenant” is nothing more than a small splinter group.

I still consider proxy fights a bit of conflict. Still, Jul and 'Telcam are both wild cards, ONI shouldn’t have this much freedom and I just feel that nobody learned a damn thing.

Maybe if time was better spent showing the differences among the Elites, ie bring in the Elite youth human sympathizers, better mention the Loyalists and that conflict and show a little fairness in some character conflicts, you know what I am talking about.

They probably will in the next two books. The entire point of the first book was to introduce the new characters, which it did exceptionally well IMO.

Eh, debatable. I never really cared for the characters. Jul had zero things for me to sympathize with him and some of Kilo-Five make me cringe, ie Vaz. God I hate Vaz.

I don’t have any problem with them. Jul seems like a one dimensional character but he’s not exactly presented with anything to sway his opinion. The Arbiter says “Humans are OK” and then he sees Humans supplying weapons to the Elites who intend to assassinate the Arbiter who is defending them. Kinda hard to believe the Arbiter after witnessing that.

I personally like Black Box. He was neat. But considering this new “Storm” Covenant will probably make an appearance and start a civil war I would bet the Arbiter will have to play a larger role. It will be interesting how his group and the Abiding Truth think of this third group. If that’s is how it all plays out.

BB’s cool, but all he seemed to me towards the end was an extension of Maggie. Osman was reflecting on her involvement in being a Spartan-II and forming her own opinion on halsey and BB goes “No blame Halsey!”.

Didn’t Frankie state somewhere that Blue Team specifically wouldn’t be in Halo 4? I thought it was in a Q&A session of a panel but I can’t remember which. :<

Sure, he’s her AI.
