It’s my first time to play any Halo game, I’ve been trying Halo Inifinite and I notice when I use my mouse, it looks like my mouse range is limited compared to when I use my right analog stick on the controller. Is this normal? I find it weird wherein I can’t even look up or any button for my look to be reset to the middle position, you can’t even do a full 180. If i get stuck on the corner, I don’t know how to look back. I’m using Xbox Series X by the way.
Same issue for me, on a series x as well
same on xbox one
Seems like this is a very limited issue on console. From what I can tell, it’s not had enough attention brought to it for 343 to fix. It’s literally turned me off the beta.
Same here. Honestly it’s the first time I use this mouse so I have verified in Gears 5 if it’s the game or the mouse and obviously it’s the game.
why use M&K on console? does halo infinite have some merit for using M&K on console instead of getting a PC?

I only “need” M&K in FPS, the rest of the games I play all with gamepad without problem (in fact, on PC I play them all with gamepad too). And regarding “why not a PC” in my case it’s easy. I’ve been a PC forever, but buying a decent PC right now with a shortage of components is 2,000 € minimum vs. 500 € and the X series is an amazing console.

I have a Series X, I don’t have a PC.
Finding it fun to learn a new input device.

do you believe you have an unfair advantage over basic console settings on most games with controller?
and would you be fine if xbox separated you from controller lobbies to keep things better balanced

most people spoof M&K with xim4 and Cronus max devices to cheat in games that restrict the use of M&K

That doesn’t make any sense because Halo Infinite (as there are a lot more games) is cross play, so you will play against people in PC with M&K. It’s not cheating, everyone can choose the controller they want in both platforms. Or because you like to play with a gamepad I need to play with it as well?
